Joseph Zitolo
Joseph Zitolo is a principal with the Lemle & Wolff group of companies. He has more than 30 years of experience in public and private accounting, specializing in the areas of real estate and taxation.Joseph joined Lemle & Wolff as a principal in 1999 and focuses his efforts on operations and fiscal matters. As an expert in the workout of troubled and distressed affordable multifamily properties, Joseph has led Lemle & Wolff’s efforts to partner with owners, municipalities, and nonprofit organizations to assist with the successful turnaround of more than 3,000 distressed housing units.
Prior to joining Lemle & Wolff, Joseph worked in the tax department of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company. He was one of the founding members of Kramer, Regen, Benz & Zitolo CPAs, P.C. In addition to administering the traditional accounting, auditing, and tax aspects of his clients’ businesses, he worked on syndication deals involving Low Income Housing Tax Credits and was partner-in-charge of firm operations.
