Bronx Supportive Housing
Lemle & Wolff is the general contractor for Urban Pathways Inc.’s ten-story, 86-unit supportive housing building on East 162nd Street in the Bronx. The project is funded through HPD’s Supportive Housing Loan Program with LIHTC financing provided by the Raymond James Tax Credit Fund. Gran Lopez Architects and Planners is the architect.
The 51,000 SF building has a block and plank superstructure, brick masonry facade, ground floor community space, and an outdoor seating area. The project also has unique funding through the Mayor’s Office of Environmental Remediation for the removal of contaminated soil.
Construction commenced in the fall 2014 and will be completed in 2016.
